East Coast Fun

During the beginning of the month we headed back to the east coast so Ben could meet my family.  We spent about a week and a half exploring Rhode Island, spending time with family and even squeezed a quick road trip to New Hampshire in.

Ben was amazing on the flight over.  I have to admit I was dreading the plane ride, but he suprised us all with how good he was during both of our flights to Rhode Island.

We spent some time bundled up outdoors

Ben's first snow!

We spent lots of time with family

Hanging with his nana

Hanging with his papa

Loving his great grandma

Routing for the patriots with auntie Jill

We went on some fun day trips, including a trip to Boston

enjoying the sites of Boston

We finished the week up with an overnight trip to Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Ben had a great time hanging out in his first hotel room

We really had such a great visit.  It  was great to see all my aunts, uncles and cousins!  We can't wait to come back again, maybe when its a bit warmer next time.

Happy Halloween!

Ben's first Halloween is behind us and we capture a few great shots of him and Toshi dog dressed up.

I just couldn't help put post this first picture.  Poor little guy was not a fan of the pumpkin at first

As the mini photo shoot went on Ben gradually warmed up to the pumpkin and Toshi became more curious..

This is the closest we came to getting a smile from him

Toshi is not a huge fan of dressing up but he sucked it up anyway and let us get a few pictures of him in his Star Wars costume

One thing Toshi is a fan of is passing out candy to the kids.  He helped Dan every time the door bell rang.

Happy Halloween!  We can't wait to be walking to the houses next year with our little guy.

Toshi Love

One of the things I am really looking forward to when Ben gets a bit bigger is to watch how him and Toshi interact.  They are going to have so much fun together and I cant wait to see it happen.  Yesterday we were hanging outside enjoying the warm weather when I was able to capture some pictures of there best friend relationship developing.

Toshi has really been amazing with Ben, just like he is with out niece Lizzy.  She was here last night and they just had so much playing with all the toys and sharing food.  I cant wait for Ben to start doing the same things with him.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

Last weekend the weather finally "cooled" down to the mid 70s.  Since it was feeling like fall we decided to take Ben to his first pumpkin patch.  You can't tell by the pictures since he tends to stop smiling whenever the camera comes out but he had a lot of fun.

Its been a while

A lot has changed in the past three months.  All for the good and nothing we could have ever prepared for.  Ben turned 3 months old this past wee and it has really been amazing watching him grow out of the newborn stage and into an infant.  I have to admit those first few weeks were rough for all of us and even though he is still a little guy I look back at the newborn pictures and wonder where the time went.  A few things about Ben, he has so much personality and is constantly smiling and slowly giving us a couple of giggles here and there.  Ben does not like to be uncomfortable and will always let you know when something is bothering him.  Ben has rolled over a few times from his tummy to back and is working hard to turn from his back to tummy.  He has started to notice the Toshi dog more and more and is entertained when Toshi plays with his toys around him.  Ben loves looking at other babies but can get overwhelmed with too many people around him.  He is such a wiggler, its almost impossible to change his diaper now a days and he never stays in one spot when he plays on his activity mat.  Ben has turned our lives upside down but we love spending every second with him.  Ben has changed dramatically since the last post I made, here are some photos to catch up on how much he has grown.

Here is a 1 month old Ben hanging with his daddy
