Baby Love - Week 36

How Far Along: 36 Weeks, 4 Weeks to go!

Size of Baby: Baby is 20 inches long and weighs about 6 lbs

Total Weight Gain:  30+ lbs

Maternity Clothes: They are a must right now....

Gender: Its a Boy!
Movement: He's for sure a mover, which makes me very happy
Sleep: Its been slightly better, but still pretty awful.  Its extremely hard to be comfortable while laying down right now

Food Cravings: Still loving ice cream

What I Miss: My shoes fitting and having the energy to finish things before the baby arrives.  

Symptoms: Swollen feet, very swollen feet.  I finally sat down 7:30 Sunday night and they looked like balloons, they have not changed since....

Best Moment This Week: Having my sister in town.  We had a nice relaxing few days at the house.  I had such a great time at my shower this weekend as well!

What I Am Looking Forward To: Our last birthing class is this week, I cant believe 12 weeks has already passed.  I'm sure Dan would beg to differ though.... Also looking forward to finishing a few more projects in the nursery and setting up some of the baby items so everything is ready for his arrival

Baby Love - Week 35

How Far Along: 35 Weeks, 5 Weeks to go!

Size of Baby: Baby is 20 inches long and weighs about 5 1/2lbs

Total Weight Gain:  31+lbs, yes it is still rising, however I am know longer keeping track on the blog

Maternity Clothes: For sure, everyday

Gender: Its a Boy!
Movement: It doesn't seem that he has much room in there anymore, however he is moving constantly.  I'm definitely not complaining.
Sleep: Is pretty much awful....

Food Cravings: Ice Cream, I would like to eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner if possible

What I Miss: Comfort!

Symptoms: Some days are better than others, but mostly just achy and tired

Best Moment This Week: It was really great seeing my RI family on the computer Saturday.  We had a really fun virtual baby shower.  The hospital tour was great as well, it definitely made us feel a bit more prepared.

What I Am Looking Forward To: My San Diego shower is this weekend, I'm really looking forward to this.  My sister is also coming into town for a few days.

Baby Love - Week 34

This time we not only have Toshi dog but we are also posing behind Dan's new baby, his painting.  He painted this over the past few days and we wanted to show off the final product hanging in our dining room.  Good job baby!

How Far Along: 34 Weeks, 6 Weeks to go!

Size of Baby: Baby is 5 inches long and weighs about 5lbs

Total Weight Gain:  31 lbs

Maternity Clothes: Every day

Gender: Its a Boy!
Movement: He's moving all day, everyday
Sleep: No big surprise here but I'm still not sleeping that well at all

Food Cravings: Frozen yogurt, specifically Goldenspoon.  There was a flyer that came in the mail this week advertising a Strawberry Shortcake Sundae, I have been obsessing about it ever since.

What I Miss: I don't think I fully understood the meaning of what it meant to be uncomfortable while you were pregnant.  I only imagine it gets worse as the weeks go on

Symptoms: Pretty achy, swollen and just generally uncomfortable all over

Best Moment This Week: We had a pretty relaxing weekend.  The weather has been great so far so we have been taking advantage of it by hang out by the pool and relaxing outside

What I Am Looking Forward To: My Rhode Island baby shower is this weekend, I'm really excited to see everyone on the computer!  Dan and I are also going on our hospital tour, which should be pretty informative so we are looking forward to doing that.

Nursery Sneak Peak

As I mentioned in the earlier post, Dan has been doing a lot around the house the past few days.  The nesting phase has definitely set in and I have been a bit on the crazy side when it comes to getting the house in order.  Luckily he has been amazing through this process and I think he even enjoys seeing the house come together and feel more like a home. 
While I do not have any pictures of the projects we are working on in the other rooms I did manage to snap some of the nursery.  Its still a work in progress but below is what we have done so far.  Both of us are super happy with how its turning out and while I originally wasn't a fan of the wall color I now find it to be really soothing when your sitting in the room.  Its been so great to see our vision for his nursery come together and both of us cant wait to finish it up in the next few weeks.  Side note, I didn't realize the flash should have been on when I took these, sorry they are a bit dark.

How Far Along: 33 Weeks

Size of Baby: Baby is 19 inches long and weighs about 4 1/2lbs

Total Weight Gain:  31 lbs

Maternity Clothes: Every day

Gender: Its a Boy!
Movement: He's moving all day, everyday
Sleep: Not really happening and with the new addition of my snoring I don't think Dan is getting much sleep either

Food Cravings: Love frozen yogurt a bit too much

What I Miss: Like I said before I really miss  being comfortable.  No matter where or how I'm sitting I pretty much get uncomfortable within 5 minutes

Symptoms: Achy feet at night and achy body when I wake up

Best Moment This Week: We made a good amount of progress this week in the nursery, well mostly my husband did since I'm not able to help with a lot at this point.  He's been doing a great job with all of my crazy request and random moods.  I don't know what I would do without him.

What I Am Looking Forward To: Getting more things finished around the house and the nursery.
