Our first play date

Yesterday we spent the morning with our friends Lindsay, Declan, Lexi, Michelle and Cassidy.  First we headed over to Kit Carson park to check out the playground for the older kids.  While the park was really nice the weather wasn't cooperating with us.  It was about 90 degrees at 11am and the playground had no shade.  We decided to get to the pizza place early and take advantage of the AC they had to offer.  Ben was such a good little guy the whole time.  He was super alert and took in all the sites and sounds while we were there.  Lindsay was able to capture some great pictures of him during our lunch.  Thanks for the pictures, Lindsay!  Wee had such a great time on our first play date and cant wait for the next one!

Like father, like son

Bath Time!

After close to three weeks Ben's umbilical cord finally fell off.  I was super excited for this to happen since it meant we could finally give him his first real bath.  Ben was great through out the whole experience.  We only had some minor crying at the beginning and end.  The good news is he seemed to really enjoy being in the water and looking out the window.
